Some actions (for example buying a shipping label) can run through a wallet balance. You top up your wallet, and track spend and refunds (on label voids) in a single ledger.
Every transaction is recorded with date, amount and description, so you follow your shipping costs transparently. If the wallet feature is not enabled on your account, shipping actions proceed directly with your configured payment method.
